After a disappointing showing in the first season of EUL, Team Vitality has now decided to give up on their dream of a mixed European superteam. Former world champions Fabian "Fabian" Hallsten and Daniel "Goga" Mazorra as well as German player Lucas "Hungry" Reich have been released from the team. Fabian and Goga have played together for the majority of their career and have accomplished various achievements in this time: Multiple Pro League titles, a Six Major win as well as two victories at the Six Invitational. Although Hungry has not collected as many trophies as Fabian or Goga, he still has a long history in R6 Esport, going back to the second Invitational where he played under 1UP Esports. After splitting up with his German teammates, Hungry joined decorated organisation Penta Sports before eventually joining Team Vitality in 2019.

Team Vitality goes back to its roots as they bring three new French players to the team: Medhi "Kaktus" Marty, Axel "Shiinka" Freisberg and Nicolas "P4" Rimbaud. Both Shiinka as well as P4 have played in the previous EUL season under Tempra Esports before the organisation dropped their entire roster. Kaktus on the other hand has no experience at the highest competitive level of Siege so far. He played under various organisations such as Movistar Riders, TrainHard eSport or Penta Sports and reached Challenger League multiple times already, this season being his first in EUL.
