Charlotte Major Groups announced

The first stage of the 2022 season is over and the Charlotte Major, which will take place from 16th until 22th of May, is right around the corner. Ubisoft has now released the groups for the event.

The event will take place in Charlotte, USA, where the 16 best teams from around the world will fight not only for a big prize pool, but also for important SI points which are required to compete at the Six Invitational 2023. With only nine days to go, Ubisoft has now released the lineup for the Group Stage.

The announcement has led to a lot of criticism, as yet again teams from the same region are placed in the same group, but this time not only once, but four times, as all EU teams are split up in only two groups (Group C and D) as well as Group A, where two APAC teams will face each other once more this early, completed by Group B, where Team Liquid and FURIA need to battle it out.
